Why we created this
For thirteen years, every August brought the same questions.
Would this year’s teachers understand my son?
Would they see his strengths before his struggles?
Would they know the incredible child I knew at home?
Those questions led me to begin writing a letter every year introducing Gabe to his teachers.
Over time, I realized the letter wasn’t about explaining diagnoses.
It was about introducing a person.
Today we’re sharing everything we learned in hopes that it helps another family begin their school year with confidence.
